Video made in Ghana on transition and the spaces in between. This piece was unexpected, reflecting the beauty on the gift of time that an artist residency brings.
Final Video from Artist Residency in Ghana!
Today, I began my artist residency Kunstkammer PDX at the Willamette Cultural Resources Associates offices (archaeology!). Top photo shows my work space and the bottom photo is what my work space looks in on: the field work gear! So cool. Not literally though- the garage space is 90 degrees in this weather so I’ll be going in the mornings, NOT the afternoons when it’s hotter. Very excited about my project.
Check out my friend and artist Susan Rotondo’s blog! We talk about my upcoming residency in Ghana. Scroll down, she also makes amazing drawings of slightly disturbing birds.
